The High School Equivalency Diploma Program (HSED) is a nationally responsive, internationally benchmarked secondary education equivalency program designed by Okyrie International University to serve out-of-school youth, adult learners, and academic attrition students. The program provides an accredited pathway to secondary-level certification comparable to the UK General Certificate of Secondary Education (GCSE) and the United States General Educational Diploma (GED) credential.
Through a competency-based, flexible, and blended-learning delivery model, the program enables learners to demonstrate mastery of secondary-level knowledge and skills necessary for workforce readiness, tertiary education, and lifelong learning.
Age requirement: 17 and older

The HSED consists of five compulsory subject areas:
